Created under the intention of deep energetic protection, this powerful piece is infused with spellwork, symbolism, and sacred energy to become a talisman for your space.
 
The painting began with the affirmation “I am protected” inscribed beneath the surface, anchoring the entire piece in that potent energy before any colour was applied. It was then cleansed with acacia gum and charcoal to clear any residual energy and create space for protection to be poured in.
Layered washes of black, grey, white and silver were gently dripped and blended to build atmosphere and texture — representing the unseen forces that hold us when we feel vulnerable.
 
A black crescent moon symbolises mystery, transformation, and the wisdom found in darkness.

Three protective Runes were added in gold, woven into the piece with intention and ancient strength.

Blackthorn blossoms – delicate yet fierce – offer a powerful message of boundaries and resilience.

A barn owl, perched on the moon, brings intuition, night vision, and inner knowing — the quiet confidence of seeing what others miss.
